If you are reading this I am assuming that you have recently received a strange looking postcard from us inviting you to celebrate our big day!

Please can everyone email us back before the 31st of March to confirm their attendance via our special wedding email address shelleyandwaynesbigday@gmail.com (click the EMAIL US link on the right hand side of the page).

For those invited to the ceremony, please let us know of any special dietary requirements so we can arrange alternative options for you at the Horseshoes (see below for details).

Hope you can all make it, we will try our best to make it a fun, informal and frivolous day for all!!

THE ARCHBISHOPS PALACE

The wedding will take place at the Archbishops Palace Registry Office in Maidstone Town Centre. For those who haven't been there before it is a big old building right next to the river in the centre of town. Click here for a link to the location on Google Maps.

There are several car parks nearby - the nearest being on Palace Avenue (see P2 on map below), Mill Street (P7) and College Road - or if these are full you can park in the Lockmeadow car park (P16) and walk across the river on the new Millennium Bridge. There is no parking at the Archbishops Palace (unless you work there or are the Bride!!).

On arrival, head for the stone stairs on the right hand side of the building and follow the signs for the Solar Room.

THE HORSESHOES

For those invited to the ceremony, you are also invited to a three course meal at our local pub the Horseshoes. Here we will be having an informal sit down meal and drinks before heading to the reception later on at our house.

The Horseshoes is approximately a 10 minute drive from the Archbishops Palace and has plenty of parking to the rear. On arrival please enter via the entrance to the side (between the two patio areas).

Nearer the time we will be updating this section with information on the set menu. For those with special dietary requirements (or fussy eaters) please mention this when you RSVP so we can arrange for alternative options.

For more information on the Horseshoes please visit their website - http://www.thehorseshoeseastfarleigh.co.uk/

Please see map below for directions from the Archbishops Palace. If you click on the View Larger Map link below it will take you to a more detailed page with in depth driving directions.
